It's Friday...  in my house that means it is time to do one of three things...

1) shop
2) online shop   or
3) think about shopping

Unfortunately, this weekend it will probably be number 3...  I am one busy lady this weekend, preparing for Omaha Fashion Week!!  Yes kids, I was chosen as a designer to show my summer 2013 kids line!  My show is Monday, and I am SO EXCITED to share photos, etc with you!!

In the meantime, we will just have to settle for some giveaways....  I know, what a bummer...

Talent can be 'Felt' all over!!

Now, I know I say this ALL the time, but I am so amazed by all of the talent out there!!  Thank god for Etsy!  It makes me sad to know that for so many years before Etsy, people with abundant talent had no way of sharing it with the masses.  It is so much fun to see what people are able to dream up.  Amazing creations brought to life by the minds of people throughout the world.

One of the most versatile and common mediums is felt.  There are so many amazing felt items to see on Etsy and beyond.  Home decor, toys, shoes, clothing, accessories...the list goes on. 

I decided to do a broad search on felt..  I quickly had far too many items for one styleboard..I encourage you to do your own search.  I promise you will be glad you did!!

Graphic Design - Great Prints with Great Color for little Girls

For those of you who have followed the blog for awhile, I imagine that you have come to learn little things about my personal style...even without me outwardly expressing them.  Two major aspects of my style are color and print.  Specifically a great graphic print. 

Whether it is a fruit, a zig zag, or circles, I love a nice crisp contrast of color on a graphic printed peice.

No Fail Shoe Buying Tips for Little Girls - Always Have a Matching Pair!

Have you ever been SUPER excited about an adorable outfit that you or your child have put together, then realize that NONE of your shoes look good with it? Totally ruins that outfit.. completely kills it :(

Today, I am going to help you out a little bit. We are going to do a girl's shoe wardrobe for summer. With a little strategy, and direction, you will have shoes to match any outfit possible!

-because they are fun, and on-trend - polka-dots and nautical.. a go to shoe for the cute fancy-pants in your life!

Yellow Rain Boots - $50 - ZAPPOS
-for rainy days, or just a day you need to add a little sunshine!! These yellow rain boots are super fun, and a solid, bright color is a chic choice..one that will brighten any rainy day outfit, and will not clash.

Asics Tennis Shoes - $45 - ZAPPOS
-every kid needs a good, supportive athletic shoe.. don't let them talk you into a goofy pair of colorful ones. You are gonna hate them! You will look at them as they run down the soccer field or court thinking they look like a total doofus! Grab a high quality pair of nuetral colored shoes... they will love these due to the added "bling" from the silver. May I also suggest that you do a dark/black pair. They will look cleaner/newer longer.

Season Openner Outfit - Baseball Themed Clothes for Little Girls

Baseball is a interwoven into the fabric of America. Just the word baseball makes me think of hotdogs, fireworks, and red white and blue. A true American tradition.

No Shave November - not just for the men!!!

Well, first of all... I would like to apologize for the long hiatus. My husband and I were fortunate enough to be able to build a new home. We did some of the work on our own, and have now completed the move... we were busy bees!!! So, again, I apologize, but I am back and better than ever!! We will be starting reviews in the coming weeks, and the Holidays are sure to prove to be spectacular inspiration for some great styleboards!!
